Lee Kyung-min, a researcher at Daishin Securities, said, "It is important to see whether the 3,140 level can be maintained for the time being," adding, "Since the KOSPI's sharp rise began in November, the KOSPI has not fallen below the 5-day moving average for more than two consecutive trading days." He continued, "Even during the mid-December short-term sharp rebound and subsequent adjustment phase, the index fluctuated around the 5-day moving average," and warned, "Given the expanded divergence from the mid- to long-term moving averages, caution is needed for the possibility of increased short-term volatility if the index falls below the 5-day moving average."
