Recent Content Supply Contracts... Rising Dark Horse in the OTT Market
The online video service (OTT) Coupang Play is showcasing content from film distributors NEW and Showbox. Recently, it signed contracts to supply twenty-five and fifty-one films from the two distributors, respectively. These include titles such as "Train to Busan," "The Attorney," "Miracle in Cell No. 7," "New World," "The Thieves," "Inside Men," and "The Face Reader." Coupang Play is a service that, with a Coupang Rocket Wow membership, allows users to enjoy not only Rocket Delivery but also online video streaming for 2,900 KRW per month. It offers a variety of content including movies, dramas, current affairs and educational programs, animation, language learning, and entrance exam courses. Each account can set up to five profiles, making it a rising dark horse in the OTT market.
