Foreign Family and Elderly Couple in Naju Confirmed Positive... Comprehensive Testing Conducted

According to Naju quarantine authorities on the 14th, following the Syrian foreigner Jeonnam No. 609 and spouse No. 610, who were confirmed positive on the 10th, four foreigners of the same nationality were confirmed positive three days later and were transferred to Gangjin Medical Center.
Jeonnam Nos. 613, 616, 617, and 618, confirmed positive the previous day, were identified as family members including spouse, children, and siblings.
Jeonnam No. 613 is a relative of No. 609 and tested positive during self-quarantine following recent contact.
Following the foreign family, an elderly couple (Jeonnam Nos. 619 and 620) who attended a religious gathering in the Busan area were also confirmed positive on the same day and transferred to Gangjin Medical Center.
The elderly couple attended a gathering held at a church in Busan from the end of last year to early this year. After showing suspicious symptoms, they underwent PCR testing at a public health center screening clinic the previous day and received a final positive result the next morning.
