[Asia Economy Reporter Eunbyeol Kim] The Bank of Korea announced on the 15th that it has opened the 'Digital Currency Museum' and is actively responding to the increasing demand for non-face-to-face services accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Bank of Korea completely revamped the Currency Museum website and expanded its digital content. Using virtual reality (VR) technology, the eight exhibition halls of the Currency Museum have been recreated with high-definition advanced video, allowing the public to view the offline exhibition halls and exhibits online. Printed materials related to currency have also been digitized and included on the website, and experiential learning content has been prepared.
