Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Commercial Area Information at a Glance: Launch of 'Our Neighborhood Commercial Area Information Service'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 13th that it will provide the ‘Our Neighborhood Commercial Area Information Service,’ which allows users to view the status of commercial areas in the district at a glance, starting from the 15th.
This service provides information on the status of business startups and closures in commercial areas, enabling an objective view of the local economic situation. It is especially expected to serve as a valuable reference for merchants planning to start businesses.
The service content includes four themes: startup status, closure status, startup survival rate, and customer competition rate, presenting the status of business openings and closures by year, administrative dong, and industry type.
Additionally, it shows the increase and decrease rates of startups and closures compared to the previous year with specific figures and charts.
Gwangsan-gu provides the commercial area information service based on permit data, telecommunications company floating population databases, and resident registration population data, and plans to update it every quarter.
This service can be accessed on the Gwangsan-gu public data platform ‘Gwangsanimap.’
