At the expanded executive meeting held on the morning of the 13th in the city hall communication room, Mayor Byeon said, "This year should be a year in which the projects promoted by the city produce concrete results," and requested that large-scale projects be carried out without setbacks.
He also stated, "The government has set a record-high target of 63% for rapid fiscal execution in the first half of this year to strongly promote economic recovery, so our city should also execute the budget quickly and respond proactively in line with the government's expansionary fiscal policy."
In addition, through the meeting, he asked to ensure that there would be no inconvenience to citizens due to COVID-19 vaccine supply issues and handover processes caused by organizational restructuring.
Presiding over the executive meeting, Mayor Byeon said, "I thank the employees working hard on the front lines of quarantine during these difficult times due to COVID-19," and encouraged, "Let us work together so that citizens can restore their daily lives as soon as possible."
