Yeosu City Recruiting 80 Monitors for Illegal Household Waste Dumping Surveillance

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Yeosu City (Mayor Kwon Oh-bong) announced on the 13th that it will expand the recruitment of illegal dumping monitors for household waste this year to cultivate a clean and beautiful city, prevent illegal dumping in advance, and establish a proper waste disposal culture.
The recruitment will be expanded from 56 people last year to 80 people this year to strengthen management of habitual illegal dumping areas for household waste, while also contributing to job creation.
The recruitment period is from the 13th to the 22nd, and anyone who is at least 18 years old as of the announcement date and physically healthy to conduct enforcement activities in vulnerable areas can apply.
The main duties of the monitors include monitoring and enforcement of illegal dumping acts, promoting proper waste disposal guidelines, and on-site guidance for the use of volume-based waste bags.
They will work in pairs, 4 hours a day, 3 days a week, with a daily wage of 38,560 KRW.
Those who wish to participate in the project can apply by visiting the relevant eup/myeon office, dong community center, or the Urban Beautification Division for city employees.
