The Third 'Taxi Cooperative' Launched in Chuncheon
Operation Starts on February 1
[Asia Economy Reporter La Youngcheol] Another taxi cooperative has been added in Chuncheon City, Gangwon Province.
Chuncheon City announced on the 13th that the taxi cooperative "Hana Cooperative" will start operations as early as February 1st.
The cooperative and corporate establishment registrations have been completed, and final preparations are underway, including the transfer procedures for general taxi licenses.
Once "Hana Cooperative" officially launches, it will be the third taxi cooperative in Chuncheon and the fourth in Gangwon Province.
As a result, Chuncheon will have a total of 114 cooperative taxis operating: 49 from Hope Taxi Cooperative, 35 from Soyang Citizen Cooperative, and 30 from Hana Cooperative.
"Hana Cooperative" is launched with a total of 27 members, including Chairman Lee Deok-il, four board members, and one auditor.
The members voluntarily formed the cooperative by investing 43 million won per share.
