The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "On this day, temperatures will rise to about 3 to 5 degrees higher than the average (normal low temperatures -11 to 0°C, normal high temperatures 1 to 8°C), making it somewhat mild during the day."
Snow will mostly stop before 3 a.m. in most areas on this day.

Daytime high temperatures are forecasted as △Seoul 8°C △Chuncheon 7°C △Gangneung 10°C △Daejeon 9°C △Cheongju 8°C △Daegu 11°C △Gwangju 11°C △Jeonju 10°C △Busan 12°C △Jeju 14°C.
Fine dust concentrations will be 'bad' in the metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong region, Gwangju, Jeonbuk, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk, while other regions will experience 'moderate' levels.

The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Visibility will be reduced and roads will be slippery in areas where snow is falling, so please maintain sufficient distance between vehicles and drive slowly to prevent collision accidents and ensure traffic safety. Also, please pay special attention to pedestrian safety as snow accumulation will make side roads, sloped roads, and shaded roads slippery."
