[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Korea Electric Power Technology announced on the 12th that it has established the 'Digital Engineering Office,' a dedicated digital engineering organization, to implement the government's Korean New Deal policy. Previously, the company reorganized its structure to digitize project lifecycle data and innovate the engineering industry.
This organizational restructuring has enabled the unification of the business development function.
The dedicated digital engineering organization was established to strengthen core technologies such as energy convergence, power system technology, digital New Deal, and smart management technology, aiming to create future growth engines.
Korea Electric Power Technology will drive innovation based on its existing engineering capabilities in energy plants, including nuclear and thermal power sectors.
The Digital Engineering Office aims to build a 'data-driven lifecycle management platform' necessary for collecting, storing, analyzing, and utilizing data created throughout the project lifecycle.
