Live-Action Animation 'Tom and Jerry' to Be Released Next Month
Fresh Fun Created by Combining Live Action and CG
Warner Bros. Korea announced on the 12th that the movie "Tom and Jerry" will be released next month. It is a live-action animation depicting the chaotic adventures of the mischievous rivals Tom and Jerry in New York. The film combines live action and computer-generated (CG) animation to create fresh entertainment. The original work of the same name has been loved by people worldwide for over 80 years since 1940 as a theatrical and TV animation. Based on slapstick comedy, it cleverly portrays the two main characters' adversarial relationship. It was first introduced in Korea in 1980. The newly produced film is directed by Tim Story, who also directed "Fantastic Four" (2005). The cast includes Chlo? Grace Moretz, Michael Pe?a, and Ken Jeong.
