According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 11th, bus driver A of route 02 tested positive in a COVID-19 diagnostic test the previous day and was registered as case number 1357 in Gwangju.
Bus route 02 is a city bus that runs between Gwangju and Naju.
Case 1357 was confirmed to be a family member of case 1326, who tested positive on the 9th. It is known that A operated the route 02 bus from around noon to 10 p.m. over two days, the 8th and 9th.
A transparent partition is installed at the bus driver's seat, and citizens not wearing masks are not allowed to board the bus; however, since public transportation is used by an unspecified number of people, there are concerns about further spread.
