Incheon City Supports Ventilators for Semi-basement Houses... Citizen Proposal Participatory Budget Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon City will support the installation of ventilators for low-income households living in semi-basement homes.
The city plans to spend 440 million KRW to install ventilators in 1,000 low-income households to prevent respiratory and skin diseases and create a comfortable living environment.
The support targets recipients of basic livelihood security and the near-poor class, and applications can be submitted to the administrative welfare center with jurisdiction over the address starting from March.
This project is a support measure for semi-basement households, which have been a blind spot in housing welfare policies, and was promoted as a new project this year following a citizen proposal at the resident participation budget meeting in October last year.
