[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] The Supreme Court has begun the process of selecting a successor to Justice Park Sang-ok, who will retire this May.
On the 11th, the Supreme Court announced that from the 15th to the 25th of this month, it will accept recommendations for candidates to succeed Justice Park from both inside and outside the judiciary.
The successor must have at least 20 years of legal experience as a judge, prosecutor, or lawyer, and be at least 45 years old.
