Gimhae City Enhances Financial Execution Efficiency Through Joint Design Team
Expectations for Cost Reduction in Design Service Fees and Enhancement of Job Expertise
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, is operating a joint design team to improve the efficiency of financial execution.
The city announced on the 11th that the design team, composed of facility-related public officials, independently designs small-scale general construction and simple repair works, thereby saving budget and executing finances early.
This year, the scope of operation, which was previously limited to small-scale construction works, has been expanded to include simple repair works closely related to residents' daily lives, such as water supply, sewage, streetlights and security lights, and drainage channels.
It is expected that more than 600 million won in design service fees will be saved through the operation of this design team, and the selection of target sites will focus on improving living environments and resolving agricultural inconveniences in relatively underdeveloped eup and myeon areas.
