[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] PSA Group's premium brand DS Automobiles announced on the 11th that it will sell a limited edition of 30 units of the ‘DS 7 Crossback Louvre Edition,’ which pays homage to the beautiful details of the Louvre Museum in France.
The DS 7 Crossback Louvre Edition is characterized by the harmonious blend of DS's elegant styling and the iconic design elements of the Louvre Museum. Glossy black is applied to the front DS Wings, window straps, roof bars, and rear lamp moldings to create a strong presence and a luxurious atmosphere.
A diamond pattern laser-engraved to resemble the pyramid was added to the side mirror covers, and badges symbolizing the Louvre Edition were applied to the hood, driver and passenger doors, and tailgate to differentiate it from the standard DS 7 Crossback. Additionally, new 20-inch Alexandria alloy wheels were added.
The interior features the ‘Opera Inspiration’ trim, which is applied to DS's highest trim level. It is distinguished by premium Napa leather seats with a watch strap pattern and pearl stitch finishing inspired by the embroidery techniques of high-end bespoke haute couture. In particular, 3D pyramid design badges and air vent sliders were applied to the dashboard and air vents to emphasize the limited edition’s appeal.
Advanced technologies are also equipped. These include DS Active LED Vision that lights up and rotates when starting the engine, DS Active Scan Suspension that independently controls damping on all four wheels by analyzing road conditions through cameras and sensors, DS Night Vision with an infrared camera that detects objects up to 100 meters ahead and displays the risk level on the digital instrument cluster, and the Electra Hi-Fi system from French high-end audio brand Focal. In Korea, consumer-preferred options such as first-row ventilated and massage seats were added to enhance product appeal.
The DS 7 Crossback Louvre Edition is powered by a 2.0ℓ BlueHDi engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering a maximum output of 177 horsepower and a peak torque of 40.8 kg·m. It is available in four colors: Pearl Crystal, Ink Blue, Platinum Grey, and Nera Black, and is sold in a limited quantity of 30 units domestically. The DS 7 Crossback Louvre Edition is offered in a single Grand Chic Opera Inspiration trim. The price is 62.5 million KRW.
Various events have been prepared to celebrate the launch of the DS 7 Crossback Louvre Edition. Next month, among customers who visit the DS Store and complete a test drive of the DS 7 Crossback Louvre Edition, three will be selected by lottery to receive the Louvre Edition ‘Au Triple’ perfume. Also, until February 15, among customers who share a video of the DS 7 Crossback Louvre Edition on their personal SNS channels with the required hashtags, seven will be selected by lottery to receive a Mona Lisa jigsaw puzzle, and 30 will receive coffee gifticons.
