[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Kim Jong-in, the Emergency Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, drew a line on the party-to-party merger theory with the People Party on the 11th, saying, "There can be no such thing as party integration."
Chairman Kim said to reporters right after the emergency committee meeting that day, "I don't know who said such a thing, but it's an unimaginable situation," and added, "There is no need to mention it any further."
Regarding the Seoul mayoral by-election becoming a three-way race, Chairman Kim said, "If anyone runs, depending on the case, there may be no way," but added, "I think we can still win even in such a situation."
