It is the first time in 25 days since the 16th of last month (9 cases) that the daily number of confirmed cases in Gyeongbuk has fallen to single digits.
According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 11th, as of midnight, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the Gyeongbuk area increased by 4 from the previous day to 2,627 (including 123 imported cases). By region, there were 3 cases in Sangju City and 1 case in Gumi City.
Among the 3 new confirmed cases in Sangju City, 2 were contacts of confirmed cases related to Bijeon Church, and the other 1 was a contact of a confirmed case related to Seomun Church. The new confirmed case in Gumi City was a contact of a confirmed case (Gumi case number 219) related to Saemsotneun Church and tested positive during a test before release from self-quarantine.
In Gyeongbuk Province, over the past week, 157 residents (excluding imported cases) across various areas were confirmed positive, resulting in a weekly daily average of 22.4 confirmed cases.
