According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 10th, the 1169th confirmed case in Gwangju, who was admitted to Hyoyang Hospital, died the day before. This is the first death among the 115 confirmed cases at Hyojeong Nursing Hospital.
The 1169th patient was confirmed positive on the 3rd and was transferred to Yeongju Red Cross Hospital in Gyeongbuk for treatment.
According to COVID-19 death funeral guidelines, cremation is conducted first, followed by the funeral.
There have been 5 deaths among nursing home residents in the Gwangju area (4 at Evergreen Silver House and 1 at Hyojeong Nursing Hospital).
