Number 982 was a resident of Evergreen Silver House (nursing home) and was diagnosed positive on the 24th of last month, receiving treatment at Chonnam National University Hospital.
So far, four deaths have occurred at Evergreen Nursing Home.
The deceased will be cremated first and then have a funeral, in accordance with COVID-19 death funeral guidelines.
Funeral expenses are covered 100% by the national government, supporting up to 3 million KRW for infection prevention measures and 10 million KRW for funeral costs.
