Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Installs Nature and Art Facilities at Hanam Gyeongam Park
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 7th that it has created a unique play and rest facility space called ‘Nature Art&Play’ at Gyeongam Neighborhood Park in Hanam-dong, using natural materials.
The goal of this space is to stimulate citizens' curiosity and imagination and provide emotional stability to children.
Gwangsan-gu broke away from the conventional practice of installing standardized park facilities by placing artworks that incorporate nature and art. It consists of wooden play facilities about 3 to 5 meters in size, such as a monkey swing, and rest facilities shaped like a squirrel, rabbit, moon, and acorn.
