[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Park Beom-su) announced on the 7th that it will conduct the 'Pet Love Campaign' for three weeks from the 11th to the 29th.
Anyone who follows the Hanul Headquarters Instagram (Hi_hanul) can participate. Participants simply need to upload a photo of their pet along with a message of love on their SNS account.
Hanul Headquarters plans to raise support funds worth up to 3 million KRW by donating 10,000 KRW per participant, which will be used to cover the medical expenses of abandoned dogs protected at the Uljin-gun Animal Protection Center. Additionally, 20 participants will be selected by lottery to receive pet ID tags.

A Hanul Nuclear Power official explained, "Although the number of households with pets is rapidly increasing, as of the end of last year, there were 135,791 lost and abandoned animals rescued and protected nationwide, showing a darker side as well," adding, "This campaign was planned to foster a responsible pet-raising culture."
