Kiwoom Securities Holds 'Futures and Options Commission Up to 90% Discount Event'
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] Kiwoom Securities announced that it will hold a 'Futures and Options Commission Fee Discount Event of up to 90%' for new and dormant customers. The event period is from January 4 to March 31.
New customers eligible for the event are those who opened a futures and options account for the first time after January 1 of this year, and dormant customers are those who opened a futures and options account before June 30, 2020, and had no futures and options transactions for six months from July 1, 2020.
Domestic futures and options new and dormant customers can receive commission discounts for 3 months based on non-face-to-face accounts after applying for the event, and if they meet the transaction amount of over 60 billion KRW in futures or over 3 billion KRW in options during the discount period, they can receive an additional 3 months, allowing up to 6 months of commission discounts. In addition, customers who trade at least one contract during the event period will receive a 10,000 KRW gift certificate for Paris Baguette. The discounted commission fee only requires payment of related institution fees, enabling approximately 90% commission cost savings based on KOSPI200 futures.
