According to the fire authorities on the 5th, the Seocho Fire Station in Seoul responded to a report at around 9:53 a.m. that a wreath in front of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office was on fire. The fire burned 3 to 4 wreaths before being extinguished.
The man who set fire to the wreath reportedly scattered dozens of papers titled "Self-immolation Will," which contained demands for prosecutorial reform. On the scattered papers, it was written that he had self-immolated in front of the National Assembly on April 26, 2013, also advocating for prosecutorial reform.
