[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Shinhan Bank announced on the 5th that it will operate ‘SOL Stove League,’ a stove league version of SOL Baseball, providing various content and events to baseball fans in line with the transition from the end of the KBO professional baseball season to the stove league period.
‘SOL Stove League’ consists of the ‘Guess the 2021 KBO Free Agent (FA)!’ event, which predicts free agent player contracts?one of the biggest offseason interests for baseball fans?and the ‘SOL Baseball Awards (AWARDS)’ voting event honoring the players who shone in the 2020 KBO League season.
The ‘Guess the 2021 KBO Free Agent (FA)!’ event invites participants to predict the contract team, contract period, and contract amount of free agent players. Customers who guess correctly will receive prizes worth approximately 1 million KRW. All participants will be awarded My Shinhan Points, and the event period lasts until the final contract signing of the 2021 free agents.
In collaboration with the KBO, the ‘SOL Baseball Awards (AWARDS) voting event’ will also be held to select players who shone in the 2020 KBO League season through fan voting. Among participating customers, a drawing will be held to award one person with a signed merchandise item from an award-winning player and 20 people with 50,000 KRW gift certificates. All voters will receive My Shinhan Points.
The ‘SOL Baseball Awards (AWARDS)’ will be held in four rounds, adding fun elements for baseball fans, unlike the monthly MVP awards previously held in SOL Baseball. The first theme is a fan vote to select the ‘BEST Fastest Batter’?a category that gained great popularity in last season’s KBO League. The player who receives the most fan votes will be awarded a prize of 1 million KRW.
