Fire at Recycling Company in Gimhae, Gyeongnam ... 300 Million Won Property Damage
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] A fire broke out at a waste recycling company in Sangdong-myeon, Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam, at around 3:27 a.m. on the 5th.
The fire burned down approximately 4,400㎡ of Factory Building 1, along with internal fixtures and waste materials, causing an estimated property damage of 300 million KRW according to the fire department, and the flames were brought under control after about an hour.
Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The fire authorities are using excavators and other equipment to extinguish the remaining embers.
