[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangju University will accept applications for the 2021 academic year regular admission from the 7th to the 11th.
Applications for Gwangju University's regular admission can be submitted through the Gwangju University website, recruiting 18 students in groups A and B.
The number of additional recruits depending on the early admission registration results will be announced on the website before the application period begins.
The selection criteria weighting is 100% based on the CSAT, with subject weightings as follows: Korean 30%, Mathematics 30%, English 25%, Inquiry (1 subject) 10%, and Korean History 5%.
A 10% bonus is applied to the percentile score for the CSAT type A.
Additionally, various scholarships for new students will be significantly provided. Depending on the average grade of the four CSAT subjects (Korean, English, Mathematics, Inquiry (1 subject)), tuition fees will be waived from full tuition for four years to 25% of the tuition for the admission semester, and academic encouragement funds will be awarded differentially from a maximum of 4 million KRW to 400,000 KRW.
Furthermore, all initial successful applicants will receive an academic encouragement scholarship (cash) of 600,000 KRW, and all supplementary successful applicants will receive an academic encouragement scholarship (cash) of 200,000 KRW additionally.
For socially disadvantaged candidates, full scholarships (including national scholarships) will be provided each semester to recipients in income brackets 0 to 2 of the national scholarship, and various scholarship programs will be operated for both new and current students.
