[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 3rd that it will start the first task of the new year of the Year of the Ox with the ‘COVID-19 Small Business Stepping Stone Support Plan.’
The Small Business Stepping Stone Support Plan, the first approval item of the new year by District Mayor Moon In of Buk-gu, is interpreted as reflecting the mayor’s determination to continue active support for small business owners and self-employed people who are struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Buk-gu plans to sign a special guarantee business agreement with the Gwangju Credit Guarantee Foundation and financial institutions within this month.
After the business agreement, special guarantee loans with three no’s (no collateral, no interest, no guarantee fee) of up to 20 million KRW or 30 million KRW will be provided to local small business owners depending on the company.
