[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Songpa-gu (Mayor Park Seong-su) will produce a video titled ‘High Five Challenge Online New Year Greeting,’ containing New Year’s wishes from residents, instead of the 2021 sunrise event, and will release it online on New Year’s Day.
The district has held the ‘Songpa New Year’s Celebration’ annually at Mongchontoseong Mangwolbong within Olympic Park.
However, to minimize the risk of COVID-19 infection and ensure residents’ safety, the on-site event has been canceled, and New Year greetings will be conducted online.
