[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] One police officer belonging to the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), leading to the partial closure of the police station.
On the 30th, the Seongdong Police Station announced that Officer A from the Economic Team of the Investigation Division was confirmed positive the day before, resulting in the closure of the office. All members of the team underwent COVID-19 testing and entered self-quarantine.
According to the police, Officer A went to the office on the morning of the 28th, took a COVID-19 test, and was confirmed positive on the 29th.
