Gimcheon City Recruiting Participants for 'Gyeongbuk Nongmin Sagwan School' Executive Management Course
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Gimcheon City in Gyeongbuk announced on the 28th that it is accepting applications for the '2021 Academic Year Gyeongbuk Farmers' Academy Advanced Agricultural Management Course' promoted by Gyeongbuk Province.
Applicants must be agricultural managers of a certain scale or larger, graduates of the basic or advanced courses of the Farmers' Academy, or possess equivalent experience, and must be residents of the Gimcheon area recommended by the head of the local government of their affiliated region.
Selected farmers will receive 80% (2.4 million KRW) of the 3 million KRW tuition fee subsidized by the province and city. The remaining 20% (600,000 KRW) is self-funded.

The application period is until January 6, 2021. The training courses offered include six programs at Gyeongbuk National University (Agri-food & High Value-added Industry, Agricultural Policy, Agricultural Product Distribution & Marketing) and Andong National University (Rural Culture, Creative Agriculture, Agri-food e-Business), among others.
