Korea Aerospace Industries Signs 1.1 Trillion KRW Contract with Defense Acquisition Program Administration for Surion Helicopter
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] Korea Aerospace Industries announced on the 28th that it has signed two contracts worth a total of 1,169,159,000,000 KRW with the Defense Acquisition Program Administration related to the Korean utility helicopter Surion (KUH-1).
The contracts include a 4th batch mass production and delivery contract worth 1,057,020,000,000 KRW and a performance-based logistics (PBL) spare parts procurement and maintenance project contract worth 112,139,000,000 KRW.

The contract amounts represent 34% and 3.6% respectively of last year's sales revenue. The two contracts will expire on December 31, 2024, and December 22, 2025, respectively.
