Boseong-gun Selected as Best Institution for Four Consecutive Years in the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Regional Welfare Project Evaluation
Hope Welfare Operation Sector, the Only Basic Local Government in Honam Region to Receive Award
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Cheon-seok] On the 23rd, Jeollanam-do Boseong-gun announced that it was selected as the best institution nationwide in the "2020 Regional Welfare Project Evaluation Hope Welfare Support Group Operation Division" hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, receiving an institutional commendation and a prize of 10 million won.
Boseong-gun, which has been selected as an excellent institution in the regional welfare project evaluation for four consecutive years, was the only recipient among basic local governments in the Honam region in this evaluation.
Boseong-gun received high praise for its efforts to improve residents' welfare by more efficiently and systematically promoting △ integrated case management operation, △ public-private cooperation and establishment of regional protection systems, and △ linkage cooperation of case management in the public sector, thereby building a dense social safety net and providing visiting health and welfare services.
Governor Kim Cheol-woo said, "This award is the result of joint efforts by the public and private sectors to improve the welfare awareness of residents despite the difficult situation caused by COVID-19," adding, "We will continue to visit residents more closely to observe their difficulties and carry out welfare administration centered on the field and people so that residents' welfare awareness and happiness index can increase."
