Kang Min-seok, spokesperson for the Blue House, held a briefing at the press center in the afternoon and stated, "He expressed hope to cooperate with President-elect Biden to strengthen the Korea-US alliance, develop bilateral relations, achieve denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, and establish lasting peace," conveying this message.
