Police Conduct Second Search of JW JoongWoe Pharmaceutical Over Hundreds of Billions Won Rebate Suspicion
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] The police, who are investigating JW Pharmaceutical's alleged creation of rebate funds worth hundreds of billions of won, have conducted another raid on the company.
According to the police on the 15th, the Serious Crime Investigation Division of the National Police Agency raided the headquarters of JW Pharmaceutical located in Seocho-gu, Seoul, the day before. This is the second raid following one in July.
The police are investigating on the grounds that JW Pharmaceutical created rebate funds worth hundreds of billions of won from 2016 to last year and delivered them to doctors.
