KB Capital's 'KB Chachacha' Wins Grand Prize in Professional Shopping Mall Category at Smart App Awards
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Capital announced on the 11th that its used car trading platform, ‘KB Chachacha,’ won the ‘Grand Prize’ in the professional shopping mall category at the ‘Smart Application (App) Awards 2020’ hosted by the Korea Internet Professionals Association.
Now in its 11th year, the Smart App Awards is the largest and most prestigious event in Korea, where a panel of 3,800 internet experts evaluates apps that have been newly developed or updated with innovative and outstanding achievements over the year.
KB Chachacha previously won the Grand Prize in the member service category at the 2018 ‘Web Award Korea’ and the Excellence Award in the customer service category at the ‘Smart App Awards.’ This time, it was selected for the ‘Grand Prize’ in the professional shopping mall category.
In January, KB Chachacha launched version 3.0 of its platform, significantly enhancing user convenience. Along with a complete overhaul of UI and UX, it introduced new services that meet various customer needs, including an AI-based service that predicts current and future used car prices.
It has received positive reviews from users for various new services such as ‘Bakkwojwo Chachacha,’ which allows easy settlement of only the price difference when exchanging one’s own vehicle with a desired vehicle, and ‘Jikgeorae Chachacha,’ which enables direct transactions between individuals at desired prices.
