On the 10th, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced that 602 people tested positive for COVID-19.
This is the first time daily confirmed cases in Tokyo have risen to the 600s, after ranging between 300 and 500 earlier this month. The highest number of new cases previously recorded in Tokyo was 584 on the 5th.
