The 'COVID-19 On-site Guidance Inspection Team,' composed of 35 teams, targeted 107 churches and other places of worship where regular services are held. They conducted on-site inspections and administrative guidance to ensure compliance with quarantine rules, including ▲maintaining visitor logs and temperature checks, ▲wearing masks during services, ▲limiting attendance to within 20% of seating capacity, and ▲prohibiting gatherings and group meals after services.
A Gijang-gun official stated, "Thanks to the active understanding and cooperation of religious facilities, quarantine rules are generally being well observed," adding, "Since this is a difficult time with a nationwide surge in COVID-19 cases, everyone must strictly adhere to the quarantine guidelines."
On Sunday, the 6th, at 9 a.m., Gijang-gun held a 'COVID-19 Response Situation Report Meeting' at the 380-seat Cha-seong Art Hall, presided over by the county governor, with all senior officials at the level of section chief and above in attendance to review departmental COVID-19 response measures.
On the 5th, Gijang-gun conducted on-site inspections and administrative guidance on compliance with quarantine rules at 199 high-priority management facilities such as entertainment bars, karaoke rooms, restaurants, and cafes; 141 general management facilities including PC rooms, academies, and indoor sports facilities; 38 religious facilities; and 202 small stores and street vendors.
The Gijang-gun Public Health Center's screening clinic conducted COVID-19 tests on 22 people on the 5th, with 17 testing negative and 5 still awaiting results.
