The Townhall Meeting, which has been ongoing since 2018, is KB Financial Group’s representative communication culture where employees empathize with each other through discussions on various current issues.
At this ‘Group e-Townhall Meeting,’ Chairman Yoon discussed six key topics that received much attention from employees this year: ‘ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Management,’ ‘Number One Financial Platform,’ ‘Smart Working,’ ‘Prudential Life Insurance,’ ‘Global,’ and ‘Future New Growth.’ Various questions and answers were exchanged through the real-time chat window.
Employees preparing to open KB Kookmin Bank’s Myanmar branch also participated via video connection from the local site, and Chairman Yoon sincerely expressed his gratitude for the employees’ passion and hard work.
During the free-flowing conversation, an employee on parental leave asked via real-time chat, “It seems that the smart working culture is spreading a lot. What exactly is smart working?” Chairman Yoon replied, “I believe true smart working is when each employee autonomously and responsibly decides the best place, time, and method to work in order to achieve the highest work efficiency.”
