Embodying the warm values of NACUFOK’s brand slogan, "Lifetime Eobuba," this sharing advertisement aims to deliver comfort and hope to people suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic. Actors Ko Doo-shim, Jung Bo-suk, Go Soo, Hong Soo-hyun, and Lee Jang-woo will participate by donating their modeling fees.
To this end, NACUFOK held a signing ceremony with the Korea Broadcasting Actors Association in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, and donated 400 million KRW in sponsorship funds. The funds will be used to create jobs for low-income broadcast actors and improve their quality of life.
Kim Yoon-sik, Chairman of NACUFOK, said, “Despite the COVID-19 crisis, the global Korean Wave (K-culture) shines a spotlight on popular culture artists, but behind the scenes, many low-income popular culture artists are struggling with financial difficulties. This sponsorship is part of NACUFOK’s ‘inclusive finance’ initiative to help the marginalized, and we hope NACUFOK can serve as a catalyst to improve the lives of disadvantaged popular culture artists.”
Jung Bo-suk, Director of the Korea Broadcasting Actors Association, stated, “Due to the nature of the broadcasting and popular culture industry, there is a stark contrast in treatment among actors, and support for low-income actors is more urgent than ever due to COVID-19. We sincerely thank NACUFOK for readily joining hands for this charitable donation during difficult times and the actors who donated their modeling fees.”
