Gyeongju-si Recruits 3,523 Participants for Senior Job and Social Activity Programs
Budget of 13.1 Billion Won Allocated Across 6 Agencies
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] Gyeongju City announced on the 25th that it will recruit participants for the '2021 Senior Job and Social Activity Support' from the 14th to the 18th.
The workplaces where participants will work include six institutions: Gyeongbuk Gyeongju Senior Club, Gyeongbuk Senior Welfare and Culture Center, Korea Senior Citizens Association Gyeongju Branch, Hana Senior Welfare Center, Gyeongju Social Welfare Council, and Gyeongju Cultural Center.
Gyeongju City has secured a budget of 13.1 billion KRW for the Senior Job and Social Activity Support Project and plans to support social activities for 3,523 people, an increase of 378 from last year.
The Senior Job and Social Activity Support Project is divided into three types: public interest activity type, social service type, and market type. Recruitment is conducted based on selection criteria such as recognized income amount, participation experience, household composition, and activity capability.
