[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Mirae Asset Daewoo analyzed on the 24th that Vespa is expected to make a resurgence in the Japanese market. No investment opinion or target price was provided.
Researcher Sangjun Han of Mirae Asset Daewoo analyzed that Vespa has the potential to improve its performance through regrowth in the Japanese market next year. He said, "The Japanese mobile game market has strong user loyalty and a high ARPPU (average revenue per paying user)," adding, "Vespa's Kings Raid is about four years since its release, and although rankings fluctuate due to large-scale updates, it can be seen as having established a foundation to run long-term in Japan."
He stated, "The Kings Raid TV animation, which began airing in Japan last October, is expected to serve as a bridge between the existing Kings Raid and Kings Raid 2, which will be released next year," and explained, "Vespa aims to release six games in 2021, among which three can be considered highly anticipated titles."

He emphasized, "Vespa has know-how in game operations in the Japanese market," and added, "Time Defenders and Kings Raid Season 2, scheduled for release next year, are globally launched games but their main target market is Japan. This is a factor that makes it difficult to view their performance in the same light as the poor reception of games released this year."
