[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the People Power Party, announced on the 23rd, "I propose a tripartite joint meeting among PK, TK, and Gwangju-Honam for the coexistence of regional gateway airports."
On the same day, Ha stated on Facebook, "I welcome the constructive proposal to jointly pass the special airport law for Busan, Daegu, and Gwangju by former Liberty Korea Party leader Hong Joon-pyo," adding, "Turning Busan Gadeokdo, Daegu New Airport, and Gwangju Muan New Airport into regional gateway airports as a cornerstone for balanced regional development is definitely worth discussing."
