2020 Journey to Korean Music VOD Content: 19 Episodes Available
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Uplus is launching an initiative to promote traditional music through Internet TV (IPTV) and mobile video platforms.
On the 23rd, LG Uplus announced that it will provide on-demand video (VOD) replay content of the performance videos from the representative international exchange platform for traditional music, '2020 Journey to Korean Music,' free of charge through its IPTV service 'U+tv' and mobile media platform 'U+ Mobile TV.'
Journey to Korean Music is a platform for the overseas expansion of traditional arts, organized by the Arts Management Support Center, inviting renowned international experts in the global music field to introduce Korean culture and music. Since its inception in 2008, approximately 160 world music experts from major overseas festivals, institutions, and media in 54 countries have participated.
The 19 representative music pieces by emerging artists from Journey to Korean Music are scheduled by LG Uplus. They will be available for free viewing for one year through U+tv and U+ Mobile TV.
