According to the Seogwipo Coast Guard on the 22nd, the cargo ship A requested rescue from the Coast Guard after a Chinese crew member B (33 years old) was injured by hitting his head on a sharp structure while working in the engine room around 5:17 PM on the 21st.
The Seogwipo Coast Guard immediately dispatched a patrol vessel and transferred the emergency patient crew member B to the patrol vessel around 8:20 PM for emergency treatment and urgent transport. B was handed over to 119 waiting at Hwasun Port around 10:45 PM.
