Changwon Jinhae-gu, Navy Family with Elementary School Children Confirmed Positive... Total 447 Cases

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] Five additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Changwon, Gyeongnam, where social distancing has been raised to level 1.5.
On the morning of the 20th at 10 a.m., Gyeongnam Province announced in a briefing that a man in his 30s living in Jinhae-gu, Changwon (Gyeongnam case 446) and his two elementary school-aged children (cases 447 and 448) were confirmed positive, all members of the same family.
They are family members of case 440, who was confirmed the previous day. Case 446 is known to be a navy personnel, prompting an alert at military bases in the Jinhae area.
A teenage male (case 449) and a woman in her 60s (case 450), both living in the same Jinhae-gu district, also tested positive. Case 449 is a family member of a middle school student in Jinhae-gu (case 430) confirmed the previous day. Case 450 had contact with case 433, an elementary school student confirmed in Jinhae-gu.
Health authorities are investigating the infection routes and contacts of these confirmed cases. Social distancing in Changwon and Hadong has been raised to level 1.5.
There were no additional infections overnight among the 26 confirmed cases related to a middle school in Hadong County.

Accordingly, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the province has risen to 447. Of these, 334 have been discharged and 113 are currently hospitalized.
