[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 10th that it held the opening ceremony of the Haengbok Dream Comprehensive Social Welfare Center and officially started its operation.
The welfare center, opened within the Sanjeong Bityeoulchae apartment complex in Hanam-dong, is equipped with facilities such as program rooms, a small library, a senior citizens' cafeteria, and a large auditorium.
The opening ceremony was held under the theme "A Village Made Together, Happy Sanjeong," along with various side events such as a photo zone and eco-bag making.
Before the opening, the district conducted a needs survey of local residents targeting all 414 households in the Sanjeong Bityeoulchae apartment complex, and plans to promote various welfare projects to revitalize the community based on the results.
