Gyeongnam Gimhae Jinyeong Hanbit Library Hosts Non-Face-to-Face Bookstart Parent Education Special Lecture
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Jinyeong Hanbit Library in Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam announced on the 9th that it will operate a '(Non-face-to-face) Bookstart Parent Education' program for parents in November.
In the first parent education lecture, author and picture book therapist Kim Seul-gi will talk about a happy parenting prescription that can be learned through picture books under the theme of 'Picture Book Therapy for Parents.'
In the second lecture, Yang Yoon-kyung, a teacher at Jeonan Elementary School in Changwon and an author, will explain how to enhance children's thinking skills through engaging parental speech and various Havruta-style question games under the theme of 'Havruta Education for Children and Parents Growing Together.'
The participation fee is free, and parents who wish to participate can register through the Gimhae City Public Reservation Portal starting at 10 a.m. on the 10th. Participants must install the video conferencing program Zoom (on a personal mobile phone or PC/laptop, etc.) before the class.
