Gwangju University Fashion Design Major Hosts '2020 ARDOR Fashion Collection'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangju University announced on the 8th that the ‘2020 ARDOR Fashion Collection,’ showcasing the passion of fashion design major students, will be held from the 10th to the 15th at the National Asia Culture Center ACC Lounge.
Under the theme ‘Cycle [Us in the endless “time”],’ this fashion collection features works by 18 graduating students who planned and executed the entire process themselves, from design development to material selection, pattern making, and sewing.
ARDOR is a fashion brand launched in 2011 by the Department of Clothing Design at Gwangju University, embodying the meaning of young aspiring designers’ ‘passion, diligence, and dedication.’

Heo Seung-yeon, head of the Fashion and Jewelry Department at Gwangju University, said, “This collection is a graduation exhibition vigorously prepared by students with the concept of a designer-run fashion store by fashion design majors, focusing on practicality, originality, and artistic sensibility. Through this exhibition, we hope students gain confidence in their field-oriented education outcomes and grow into global fashion experts.”
