He also criticized Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae, who has been critical of Prosecutor General Yoon Seokyeol, saying, "I am curious about her mindset."
At the party meeting held at the National Assembly on the 6th, Floor Leader Joo said, "It is this administration that has brought the prosecution into the political arena, and among them, the Justice Minister is the one acting most politically, so it is the pot calling the kettle black."
He pointed out, "The Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice, and the Minister of the Interior and Safety all belong to a specific party and have maintained their positions up to the general election. Has this ever happened before?" He added, "I am increasingly curious about the state of Minister Choo's mindset."
Joo also criticized the Democratic Party, saying, "They say investigations into those in power are necessary, but whenever such investigations happen, they always interfere and criticize. They claim that the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) is needed to investigate those currently in power, so I really wonder if they are thinking straight."
He further stated, "At a forum yesterday, the Democratic Party said that the prosecution's mission is not to establish justice in the Republic of Korea. I do not understand what that means." He criticized, "The Democratic Party has gone beyond undermining and denying the foundation of Korea's judicial system and is now at the stage of denying and ridiculing the prosecution itself."
He also criticized the ruling party's real estate policy. Floor Leader Joo said, "The confusion was caused by the law extending jeonse contracts by two years, and now they are proposing a 3+3 (three years plus three years) law. They say this is so that once you move, you can live in one house for six years during elementary school and another six years during middle and high school, but at this rate, they might even legislate permanent leases."

Regarding the verdict scheduled for 2 p.m. that day for Kim Kyungsoo, Governor of South Gyeongsang Province, he said, "This verdict will be a touchstone to determine whether our judiciary is independent and alive, or whether it has become a shield for those in power, completely swayed by them." He added, "We have already seen several strange verdicts in cases such as the Eun Sumi case and the Lee Jaemyung case, among others. If there is another verdict that the public cannot accept, public resistance will be inevitable."
